Hannah Wilson Mural

Local artist Hannah Wilson received LATC funding to create a mural devoted to the Brewing Culture of Durango on the side of Mac's Liquors, 3124 Main Avenue, Durango (adjacent to City Market North). The Durango Brewing History and Culture Mural uses the power of collaborative, public art to celebrate Durango’s rich brewing history and establish Durango as the craft brewing capital of the Southwest.

A ribbon-cutting and unveiling ceremony occurred on Wednesday, September 21st, 2023. It celebrated the mural and the craft brewing culture. Additionally, the building owner, Tina Haefele, threw a small free community BBQ in conjunction with the opening for visitors.
