“Trash to TREASURE“ ART and Maker space

LATC funded the "Trash to Treasure" Art & Maker Space at the 2023 Earth Day Festival celebration event at Buckley Park on April 22, 2023. The funding went towards art materials and collection of recycled materials for children’s environmental art area, artist event booth fees, day of event signage showcasing the artist and their sustainable process, a percentage of the Buckley Park rental fee; chair and table rentals for recycled art making and demonstration needs, prizes for the student art contest during Earth Month, stipends for student bands with iAM Music, and rain tents.
