Colorado Clay Studio was awarded LTAC funding used for the “Connecting Community with Clay” program at Colorado Clay Studio. The program included providing discounts for existing partnerships with local schools, as well as new, free class offerings through partnerships with individual professional instructors and organizations. Funding from the grant was used for stipends for professional instructors, clay and glaze supplies, new tools, electricity, and studio technician staff. The vision of this project is to open the studio and the medium of clay to multiple diverse groups at little to no cost.
