Four Corners Gem and Mineral club

Four Corners Gem and Mineral Club received LATC funding to support opportunities to learn about and explore topics in earth sciences, lapidary, and allied arts. Funding went towards scholarships, hand tools, supplies, classroom space, engraving equipment, and stone-setting equipment. The increased equipment (which included stone cutting blades, sanding belts, and polishing compounds) allowed for more students. The scholarships allowed for students to join who could not have been able to prior, due to monetary restrictions, creating a more diverse space.
