scav. studio

Scav. is a post-consumer plastic processing studio, turning local Durango plastic into creative and functional objects. This project transforms plastic from useless waste into versatile, customizable, and functional products for recreation, lifestyle, and construction purposes. Scav. seeks to increase engagement of locally discarded plastic while reimagining the dialogue about waste, civic engagement, and community-wide responsibility when sustainably managing this abundant material.

Scav. received LTAC funding to increase machine capabilities, expand clean functional studio space, and collaborate with multiple organizations within the Durango community to decrease our collective carbon footprint through education, demonstrations, and repurposing local plastic material for responsible manufacturing purposes.
