local artist and muralist Mariah Kaminsky took it upon herself to do a full restoration of the Jack Dempsey mural at El Rancho Tavern. The work included a full cleaning and prep job, and then finished with the skilled touch of Mariah. The restoration of this iconic mural insures the story of this historic moment can live on for many years to come. Mariah received funding to complete this restoration from the Lodgers’ Tax: Arts & Culture Fund.
