Durango Bluegrass Meltdown

The Durango Bluegrass Meltdown received LTAC funding to support its educational initiative, Empowering Education through Bluegrass, running from June to December 2024. The program aims to cultivate and engage young musicians through school performances, scholarships, private lessons, and events like Kidspick. The LTAC grant covers a range of expenses including musician stipends, sound and tech support, venue rentals, instrument purchases, and educational materials. With this support, the Meltdown can reach more students, provide valuable music education opportunities, and deepen youth involvement in bluegrass music across the Durango community.
